The EWS EMT (Environmental Monitoring Telemetry) Device is an ultra powerful, yet low power draw and compact multi-communication enabled IoT Device designed specifically for remote environmental monitoring applications. The EWS EMT Device is a self-contained datalogger and cellular or Iridium Satellite transmitter which includes a uniquely designed clip-on solar panel (3W and 6W options) to monitor a wide range of remote environmental and geotechnical applications.
The EMT device is powered by 4 x high capacity and high temperature recharge Molicel 21700 batteries and has exceptional power draw optimisation. The compact form factor and all-in-one package (datalogger, telemetry and power source) means less peripheral infrastructure is required for your monitoring setups. Remove the need for large cabinets, additional modules and cumbersome external power supplies.
The same EWS device ability to transmit data over the Iridium satellite network provides 99.9% Earth surface coverage and direct to cloud ability.
With multiple inputs for Modbus485, SDI12, 4-20mA and Pulse protocols, the EWS EMT is compatible with most common environmental sensor types and offers a uniquely powerful device for delivering critical remote data from a variety of applications.
