EWS’s Groundwater Well Cap leverages the power and reliability of our Switch Data logger family to deliver a cost-effective, self-contained package to easily and effectively monitor groundwater and any other environmental applications.

EWS’s Groundwater Well Cap leverages the power and reliability of our Switch Data logger family to deliver a cost-effective, self-contained package to monitor groundwater and any other environmental applications. Made from extremely robust glass filled nylon with a lockable hasp, the telemetry electronics sit safely within the IP68 top section and can be easily configured via our Bluetooth mobile app.

Hassle-free and quick installation - the Well-Cap is simply connected to the sensor, placed over the monitoring bore and fixed in place with grub screws. Different adaptors allow it flexibility to fit to any bore diameter. Easily gain access to the bore for pump sampling or calibration dips by simply flipping back the lid.

EWS Well Cap

Unlike other “Down the hole” telemetry products, the EWS Well Cap sits above your bore casing allowing connection of multiple sensors from nested bore scenarios. This saves on equipment outlay and setup.

Connect up to 10 sensors of any brand to the one unit. Other types of “Down the Hole” products only allow for connection of one sensor. Other products sit down the well, restricting access to validation dips or pumping campaigns.

The EWS Well Cap sits above the hole with a custom “dip point” built into the housing. The user simply needs to take off the lid to access their bore hole.

Down the Hole products limit access to the well and reduce the transmission signal whereas EWS Well Cap allows fast secure connection to the Iridium or other network from above the well.
